As one of the partners of Poznań Collegium Da Vinci (formerly School of Humanities and Journalism), we took part in a business lunch and a meeting organised by Collegium on 30 September 2015.

The aim of meetings such as this is to establish a close collaboration between the school and the administrative institutions as well as the economic entities it is in contact with. The main goals of the cooperation are as follows:

• defining the type of graduate who can fulfil the requirements of the labour market;
• developing an effective and intensive internship programme;
• developing proper curricula;
• maintaining constant cooperation and undertaking common ventures.

The main subject of discussion at the last meeting was a new project, in which the experience and individual cases of companies cooperating with CDV could help students write interesting diploma theses.

Moreover, the participants had an opportunity to listen to a fascinating lecture concerning the latest global trends in building one’s brand as an employer. It is a great pleasure for us to know that our professional experience might help increase the quality of education. Participation in such events also provides us with an opportunity to widen our knowledge about the labour market and the real needs of companies and institutions, also in terms of language competence. Owing to that, we can adjust our services to the market even better.
